This section preserves the strongest reference material from the former Mobiletech product tree and reframes it around a current editorial question: what does a publisher need to deliver, measure and sustain a mobile product?
The pages below are historical documentation, not active product offers. They are useful because they show how early mobile publishing systems divided the problem into content ingestion, templates, device adaptation, analytics and operational support.
The publishing stack
- Content model: structured source content should be reusable across web pages, feeds, apps and future interfaces without copying the editorial workflow.
- Delivery layer: templates and APIs should preserve stable URLs, accessible HTML and predictable metadata while adapting presentation to the device.
- Performance controls: media, advertising, consent tooling and third-party scripts need explicit budgets and owners.
- Measurement: analytics should answer product questions without making the experience materially slower or collecting data without a defined purpose.
- Revenue model: advertising, subscriptions, sponsorship and commerce each impose different requirements on UX, identity and content access.
Monetization is an experience decision
An advertising slot can shift content, delay the main render or obscure navigation. A paywall can clarify the product’s value or interrupt discovery before readers understand it. Subscription flows can build a durable relationship, but only when registration, payment and account recovery work well on mobile. The revenue model therefore belongs in architecture and UX reviews from the beginning.
The archive article Time for advertisers to wake up and face mobile reality captures an earlier moment when mobile attention was growing faster than many media plans. It now serves as historical market context rather than current commercial advice.

How this hub will grow
Future articles can examine headless CMS tradeoffs, mobile ad performance, paywall discovery, subscription UX and the operational cost of maintaining web and app channels. They should strengthen this permanent hub instead of creating isolated category pages.
